Jelle Verstraten
Already during my studies in classical composition, I fell in love with writing music for film. In 2011 I was brought on board to orchestrate for one of Hollands most visited feature films that year. I’ve been active as an orchestrator and composer in film and tv ever since, working on scores for major productions in The Netherlands and Belgium. My proficiency in orchestration has been a common thread in my music, often influenced by genres such as Pop Rock, Jazz and EDM to name a few.
Hans Nieuwenhuijsen
Hans Nieuwenhuijsen is a Dutch composer/producer and ‘Buma Music in Motion New Talent Award’ winner from 2018. His music score from the animation ‘Catastrophe’ got nominated at several film festivals because of the contrast of the composition and the use of the orchestra. During this period, Hans worked on many short-films and tv-series as a freelance composer and music producer and also researched and re-create the recording technique of Phil Spector. To further strengthen his musical career, he combined his talents and co-founded STILL and MusikPakt, a collaboration of professionals specialised in film scores and soundalikes.
Chrisnanne Wiegel
Born 1955, I started my professional music career in 1996, as a composer for TV commercials and Station Branding. By being successful in that I was asked to compose scores for short films and in the end features. In the passed years I managed to score a great number of Dutch & Flemish box-office hits as well as some art-house projects. By writing for features I learned how to work with disciplines as orchestras, bands and choirs on the scoring stage and thereafter in the mixing process. In 2010, I co-founded The Dutch Film Composers. (DFC). A society that serves the interests of film music composers in The Netherlands and abroad. I love to bring disciplines together and nail the job!
